About Jaylon Han

I'm a passionate 3D artist, specializing in Environment Art. With experience in both art and programming, I understand the language of both sides. I'm good at communicating with different departments to figure out beneficial solutions. Examples of my experience- I worked as the Environment and Prop Artist on Tipsy Turtles, my VFS final project, and created a stylized cartoony natural environment- I have experience in using Maya to model both hard surface props and organic-shaped characters. I also have basic skills in rigging and animating humanoid characters- I have experience in using ZBrush to sculpt mid-frequency details- I have experience in using Substance Painter to texture models- I have experience in using Substance Designer to make tile textures- I had level design classes and took the programming stream at VFS. So I have some visual scripting experience in Unreal and have basic coding skills with C# in Unity. I also had some experience in making shader graphs and particle systems when I worked on my school final project- I worked as a Project Manager on my team project Beware The Dark. I have experience in project management. I have experience in keeping the team working effectively and happily at the same time. Before I dive into the gaming world, I have been working as a theatre director, stage manager, and actor for 9 years. I come from a background where people work closely every rehearsal day. Respect, caring, openness, and good communication are a must. That's what I learned from my theatre experience. I love working with different people and I know how to cooperate with people. I love the opportunities where I could apply my knowledge and experience. I love working with a team that is creative, effective, and has a healthy culture. I'm always happy to make new connections.
