About Jayme Moskovitz

I have 25 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery environment. The pace is much quicker than most nursing environments and therefore requires excellent time management and organizational skills. I believe in a strong work ethic and going above and beyond especially when it is for the greater good of the company. Those characteristics quickly put me in a leadership role as the Charge Nurse. Shortly after becoming the Charge Nurse I was moved into the Director role. As the Director for the past 18 years, I have had 7 successful 3 year accreditations and 17 successful Department of Health inspections. I have become the Infection Control Preventionist, the Patient Safety and OSHA officer. I manage the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, the Infection Control Committee as well as the Patient Safety Committee. I love to expand my knowledge and did so by completing a certification program for School Nursing as well as earning my certification for Legal Nurse Consultant. I am a self-directed, highly motivated person with the team mindset. I believe in loyalty and I do everything I can to those I am loyal to. I have given my current company 25 years, spent many days helping without compensation, simply for the satisfaction of knowing I did everything I could to help make them a successful practice with very high patient satisfaction scores. I also pride myself on protecting the practice from legal liabilities by making sure the physicians and staff are always following policies and procedures. In addition, I will write and edit policies as necessary to make sure we are following best practices. Finally, during my 25 years, we have changed software between our surgery center and practice 5 times. Each time, I was at the forefront helping to design, build workflows, bridge gaps between surgery center software and practice software, and implement and being a super user to train staff.
