I worked for the California Department of Public Health, Prenatal Screening Program for two years prior to my current position with CDFA. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, College of Public Health with my MPH in Epidemiology. Before that I attended the University of Oklahoma and from there received a BS in Zoology with an emphasis in biomedical science and a minor in microbiology. During my time at the OUHSC College of Public Health I worked at the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Department's Research Design and Analysis Center and I also worked at the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Before being employed by CDPH I was a volunteer epidemiologist at the Yolo County Heath Department.
