About Jayne Scott

A dynamic and commercially astute Director of Finance and Corporate Solutions (Bursar) with multiple experience in the timely delivery of new education campuses in Asia and the UK. After 30 years of diverse finance experience in the UK, I was afforded the opportunity to work in two very different countries and cultures in Asia. Recruited as Director of Finance and Corporate Solution (Bursar) for the Leadership Team for Singapore I initially worked Dulwich College Beijing. Dulwich College (Singapore) opened in August 2014 with 880 students. I was based in Beijing, China, as Bursar for an established school and I also worked on the startup for Singapore 2 years prior to opening, moving to Singapore 12 months before the college opened. Working in a multi-cultural International College broadened and developed my knowledge in all of the disciplines that make up the Bursar remit, Finance, HR, Operations, Facilities and Estates and compliance. The delivery of a new college campus enabled me the rare opportunity to build a team and to create a culture that encompasses commitment and innovation. Most recently a member of the School Leadership responsible for re-opening in September 2018 a British Independent School with over 435 years history which closed in 2015.
