About Jayne Sieverding

Jayne has a BS and MS degree in geology and is recently retired from a 34 year tenure as a technical geologist and manager for Chevron Corporation. Her yoga journey began in 1998 and she has been actively practicing for 20 years. She completed her teacher training under Kay Westcott in 2012, and is qualified at the 200-Hr level through the national association of certified yoga teachers (NACYT). Her practice is a blend that is generally based on Ashtanga and Iyengar styles. She regularly attends continuing education workshops given by nationally known teachers to improve her own practice and teaching ability. Her passion to teach is driven by her desire to see yoga improving her students’ health, mobility and longevity. Jayne currently teaches yoga classes at LA Fitness locations across northwest Houston, Some Like it Hot Yoga and Fitness, Villa Sport Fitness and spa, and at both Pure Balance yoga studio locations in Cypress, Texas. She lives with her husband, three cats and a new dog named Barry in Cypress, Texas.
