About Jayne W.

At my core, I'm a passionate storyteller. Gaps and empty spaces are my cues to bring things to life, whether by spearheading a full project lifecycle, or by building a shared arsenal of knowledge through writing intuitive operational playbooks. Currently, I work in e-commerce operations, where I combine my track record in project management and data-driven strategy to lead a high-impact, solution-oriented team in mitigating shipping fraud. What I value most is communicating in a way that connects. I'm committed to designing clean and scalable SOPs that balance customer experience and fiscal impact, and to crafting approachable user-facing copy. I bring a persuasive, analytical rigor and creative agility to my work, and pride myself on my collaborative and intellectually generous leadership. Outside of work, I write short fiction. My stories have appeared in literary magazines, and have been honored with nominations for a Pushcart Prize and a PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. In my downtime, I’m usually reading a coming-of-age novel with a bold female lead, hunting for the perfect burger, or crushing Harry Potter trivia with unsettling accuracy.
