PROFILE Jayson is a highly experienced rugby coach and high performance professional. Having coached internationally with roles including Director of Rugby, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, National Academy and Pathways Manager. As an elite coach, Jayson's success includes Rugby World Cup qualification as coach of Flying Fijian National Team, Pacific Nations Cup Champions, National Rugby Championship, Brazil National Team (South American Championship), and Australian Domestic Shute Shield success. As a lifelong learner, having presented at international and national conferences, Jayson has currently completed a post graduate degree on high performance sport leadership. This combined with being a Rugby Australia level 4 coach has lead to expertise in strategy formulation, systems integration, game model development, the cohesion - performance relationship, neuroscience, skill models and the enhancement of individuals, teams and overall rugby programs through a values based leadership model. A philosophy of coaching and leadership based on good people, character, passion, purpose and performance. As a high performance manager, lead national strategy and alignment of elite, development and community coaching frameworks. Critical to this is a variety of cross sport connections and elite organisation systems reviews that have been undertaken, including northern, southern hemisphere teams and other elite sport franchises. With an ability to mobilise and lead with a focus on the holistic development of athletes and support staff. As national community coaching manager, lead national coaching blueprint, coaching program initiatives and club coaching programs.
