I was a data scientist before it was cool and when we were still called statisticians. My experience in working in many functions of a retail business has equipped me with advanced skills in business planning and forecasting, business integration, supply chain management, working capital management, financial analysis and budgeting, scenario modeling, trend identification and analysis, data integrity processes, project management, process design and implementation, team development and training, marketing optimisation, customer service and people management. As a business integration specialist I am relied upon to ensure that all business functions are engaged toward achieving outcomes and making decisions that are optimal and which best meet the requirements of all stakeholders. My objective in any role is to increase the cross-functional collaboration, communication and cohesion evident in a business so as to facilitate clear direction and optimal business performance.
