I am a recent graduate from the Professional Masters in Social Work in UCD, receiving a first class honours and a GPA of 3.81, as well as an A grade in my thesis. I have since started working as a Medical Social Worker in Beaumont Hospital, where I undertook my second placement for my PMSW degree. Both in my studies and beyond, I have been heavily involved with LGBTQ+ community activism, including as chair of UCD's LGBTQ+ Society, as a youth activist with BelongTo Youth Services, and in my focus on LGBTQ+ topics within my academic career. My undergraduate capstone essay and my PMSW thesis both focused on LGBTQ+ topics, and I am a co-author of 2 published journal articles about LGBTQ+ youth participation.
