I am committed to amplifying the voices and experiences of underserved and underrepresented communities while fostering communal healing and promoting holistic wellness. My work is rooted in equity, culture, and collective care, and I aim to create long-lasting impact through collaboration and effective project management. As Director of the Healthy Incentives program at the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative, I design, implement, and evaluate nutrition incentive programs across Iowa. These initiatives improve access to healthy food for low-income individuals, support local farmers, and strengthen regional economies through programs like Double Up Food Bucks. I ensure that each program contributes to enduring health outcomes and community vitality. As the Owner of Wild Olive Birth Company, I offer lactation services, childbirth workshops, parent meetups, prenatal yoga, placenta services & doula training for underserved families. As the Executive Director, I lead a cooperative space that mobilizes communities, builds coalitions, and addresses the health needs of diverse families in rural areas. By providing education and services and fostering key partnerships, we emphasize culturally relevant care and responsible practices, allowing organizations and individuals to collaborate to address the unique challenges of underserved populations, particularly in medical and maternal care deserts. Collaboration and project management are at the heart of my work. I bring together organizations, communities, and individuals to co-create meaningful solutions that empower marginalized families and promote holistic well-being. My mission is to build spaces where people can collectively, responsibly, and equitably thrive.
