About Jd Leadam

At age 15 I built a professional recording studio in my basement. I ran this studio for 4 years with numerous clients and productions. Through advertisement, website creation, and fair market prices, this became one of my most prized accomplishments in life. Throughout that experience I have found that if I put my mind to something I can achieve it. Since my musical expedition I have turned my focus to more professional goals. I spent a period of 4 years investing and working in the stock, option, and Forex markets. I studied Business/Entrepreneurship at San Jose State University where I received numerous recognitions for my accomplishments. In 2011 I was awarded three 1st place prizes at the 2011 Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge, and in 2014 I was able to achieve third place in my school's Business Plan Competition, and additionally was awarded a scholarship to attend the European Innovation Academy in Nice, France. During my Senior year of school I became interested in "biohacking" and improving the human mind. I eventually discovered a neuro-stimulation technology called TransCranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), and became intrigued by the growing number of studies being conducted on tDCS's cognitive effects. I moved quickly to enter what I saw as a high margin, low competition industry, and launched a product named "The Brain Stimulator" in late 2013. The company I formed around this product quickly skyrocketed into profitability within less than a month, and has since continued to grow and expand all with little to no paid advertising. I attribute our success to correct market timing, as well as microscopic attention to product detail, safety, and customer service.
