About Jean Block

You may not think about what happens to used water when it leaves your home. You don’t have to if you live in central Arkansas because Little Rock Water Reclamation (LRWRA) does it for you. The process of collection, treatment, and disposal of reclaimed water is vital to the health and safety of communities. LRWRA ensures that used water goes safely from homes and businesses to one of our water reclamation facilities for treatment. I serve as CEO of LRWRA, Arkansas’s largest water reclamation utility. We treat 34 million gallons of used water daily, supporting over residents, local businesses, and industries. I am passionate about empowering our 224 team members to “Think Big; Act Big” and positioning LRWRA as a vital force for economic growth, innovation, and career development in Little Rock. I believe in leading with authenticity and purpose. Our team and utility have a great story to tell, and it is my privilege to share our stories of success through speaking engagements. This includes speaking at conferences and at local and national venues. Before becoming CEO, I spent 23 years practicing law - primarily in the public sector - serving as in-house counsel and as part of senior leadership teams in both small and mid-sized organizations.
