I am an enthusiastic, hardworking & target driven Credit Controller & I worked for a leading International Foodservice Company. Due to structural re organisation my role along with all of the finance Dept has been moved & centralised to the main parent company in the UK. I managed & was responsible for the Credit Control Team of the Irish subsidiary branch in Ireland which currently has 300 operating units/outlets with a turnover in excess of €120m. My role evolved & grew with this company which has acquired and merged with other companies in Ireland over the last 15 years. I reported directly to the Finance Director. I managed my own dept. & had one staff member reporting to me. I was a key member of the Finance team working with the Commercial & Accounts Depts. I have never failed to deliver all Financial Year End Targets & have constantly achieved in excess of 100% monthly. As a result, I have been honoured with a Company achievement award. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS •Moved debtor days from 53 days to a consistent 40 days in line with contract terms. •Increased cash collection % from 90% to a consistent 100 – 110% of target which was above the group average. •Introduced debt reporting templates by area to improve cash collection. •Established key client contract relationships to aid debt collection. •Moved debtors ledger to SAP with no decline in debtor days. •Integrated various acquisition debt ledgers to company central SAP system
