About Jean Brophy

For more than 20 years, I have witnessed first-hand the ever-changing landscape of hotel and travel technology. From my beginnings growing domestic and international business for Irish Hotel Chains including O’Callaghan Hotel Group, Carlton Hotels and Dalata Hotel Group. In 2013, I joined the global hotel industry’s leading cloud platform, SiteMinder, as Business Development Manager for the Irish market and I was responsible for driving its fast-growing presence within my native Ireland as well as other exciting dynamic markets. In this position, I have witnessed first-hand the evolution of hotels over the past decade and the growing power therein of both technology and the broader roles within travel, primarily tour operator and OTA distributors, as well as providers of property management systems, central reservation systems and revenue management systems.
