About Jean Chamberlain

With over 42 years in the real estate business and as a native Vermonter, it comes naturally to me to share my extensive knowledge of the real estate market along with my love of the Rutland area, its people, breathtaking scenery and recreational opportunities. Born and raised on a farm in Clarendon, I learned the value of hard work at an early age. My work ethic, honesty and experience allow me to provide you with exceptional service in selling your current home or in finding the right new home. As a member of the Green Mountain Board of Realtors, I previously completed a two-year term as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the former Rutland County Board of Realtors; a position I’d held before for two terms. A member of RCBR for over 40 years, I also regularly served on numerous committees. As a 35 year member of Grace Church in Rutland, I’m a former chair of Church School Committee for 6 years, deaconess as well as part of the Rutland Community Cupboard mission for the past 15 years. In any free time, you’ll find me kayaking, walking, gardening, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and spending time with my family (including two young granddaughters!) and friends. My husband Brent and I live in Chittenden and are fortunate to have both our children and their families living close by in Vermont. Currently, I am finding great pleasure in working with my children’s friends (some of whom I’ve known since kindergarten or before) in the purchase of their first home. Please let me know how I can assist you with your real estate needs. I look forward to working with you
