About Jean Hungiville

Working with people, developing partnerships, building coalitions, and promoting business issues are my strengths. Formerly the director of 3 other Chambers of Commerce, a small business owner, a director for a large trade association, a legislative aide and a lobbyist, Over the past 20 years, I have developed a strong foundation through experience that makes me a seasoned and effective leader in our business community. In February 2017 I was recruited to rebuild the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce into a relevant organization that is supported by the business community. I am pleased to have established new partnerships with businesses and community organizations which, in turn, increases involvement with the Chamber. We've established new lines of communication with our members and restructured the Board of Directors and Committees. The results are lots of fresh energy and new ideas. Within the last 3 years the Tarpon Springs Chamber has re-positioned itself to be a stronger partner with businesses and nonprofits in the City and worked to develop coalitions promoting community development in the area. I’m pleased to say that I was presented recently with the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals' Award for Advancement of the Chamber Profession.
