About Jean Neron

Mechanical engineer possessing a vast knowledge in the aviation and rail transportation industry. My multidisciplinary aptitudes have allowed me to excel as the Warranty and Vendor Recovery Administrator and as a Project Manager for the Regional Jet Program at Bombardier Aerospace, a Manager of Training and Documentation for Alstom Transport, an Operations Engineer on the Airbus aircraft fleet for Air Canada and as a Project Engineer supporting a fleet of railcars at GATX. My thoroughness at work and my passion for taking on new challenges have helped me resolve the numerous technical problems that I was assigned. Particularly with the management of multiple projects, the creation of a technical writing and training department; the creation and development of an operational documentation software intended for the Air Canada pilot group; and the design of a chlorine neutralization unit used in the purging of tank cars which sparked interest within the Chlorine Institute of America association because of its simplicity. I have also represented my employer’s interest by attending different industry associations. For instance, I was the Chair of the Flight Operations Working Group within the Air Transport Association (ATA) and previously, I was an acting participant in the Tank Car Committee of the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
