About Jean Pender

To live a Christian life and help others find their "dream" home. I began my career in real estate in Carmichael, CA with the company we had used to buy our house. My husband's job required we move quite frequently. It was always a stressful time being in a new area and trying to make an educated decision on buying a house that would resell when we moved. We depended on the advice of a good Realtor to guide us. From the first day I got my license, I loved my job. My previous experience in accounting made financing easy. I loved working with buyers that were in similar situations as we were in. Next we moved to Kailua, HI and I had to go through the licensing process again but loved selling real estate there even better than CA. Two years later we retired and moved to Columbus and I have helped families sell and buy for the past 37 years. It is a very rewarding career as I love people and it is always a different experience and a challenge! My daughter, Alicia, and I have worked as a team for the past 12 years.
