I am a professional manager with over 26 years of experience in supply chain management, having served at a global automotive OEM and a privately-owned specialist component supplier to the OEM industry. I have built a successful career in developing and executing operational strategies, and implementing the Lean principles of business management. As a highly-motivated individual, I excel at delivering exceptional results under pressure. My wide-ranging experience has seen me develop effective interpersonal and communication skills across all business levels. I am not afraid to challenge weaknesses within a process or organisation, before suggesting and implementing improvements, and my experience across various materials management functions and systems has given me a unique ability to identify areas where improvements can be made. My well-thought-out solutions have seen me execute cost reduction programmes that have saved millions in my previous roles. Today, I am BT Industries’ Operations Manager for their Cape Division, a role I have served in for almost 5 years. I pride myself on ensuring that every customer is provided with the ideal product that suits their precise requirements, while building relationships and adding value that is relevant to their needs.
