About Jean Steiner

At Sandoz, I work in Equity Rewards, Executive Rewards and our Rewards Business Partnering functions. Together with my team, I manage Sandoz' Long-Term Incentive Plan offering in 50+ countries. In anticipation of Sandoz's spin-off from Novartis, I was responsible for establishing the Equity Rewards function. This entailed designing the LTI plans, conducting due diligence and plan registrations, setting up plan administration technology, developing financial reporting capabilities, and managing employee communications. Within the first year, we made over 70% of Sandoz employees proud shareholders of the independent Sandoz. In my previous consulting positions, I supported companies in implementing and executing global mobility programs, a career that eventually brought me from Zurich (CH) to Birmingham (UK), and Tokyo (JP) myself. I provided guidance on cross-border tax and social security issues, focused on cost forecasting, payroll delivery, and tax and social security reporting.
