Jean-V. As Sales - Engineering Specialist, Solutions Architect, and SME in Healthcare and Public Safety Solutions at Mitel, Jean is responsible for Architecturing, Marketing, and Selling IP-based Unified Communication Solutions that meet the unique requirements of healthcare providers, public safety agencies, and their customers. As well Jean plays the role of Consultative Engineering to Public Safety Answer Point [PSAPs] helping them transition from E-911 to NG9-1-1 /i3 Compliancy. Prior to his current role, Jean was responsible for Mitel’s MiSN Program, a global development community that enables third-party Developers to quickly and easily develop applications that integrate into Mitel’s award-winning communications platforms. Jean has held multiple positions in Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Sales for Mitel. From 2005 to 2016, Jean sat on the Board of Directors of the Montfort Hospital, in Ottawa, Canada’s National Capital and previous to that completed a 3 years term as Board Member of the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Jean holds an Engineering Technologist Degree, with concentrations in Sales and Marketing from Queens University. He has written on Computer Telephony Integration to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers journals, has contributed to numerous Healthcare Technology and Seniors Living magazines and is a frequent speaker on healthcare, Senior Living, and Public Safety challenges and Solutions.
