I am a full-time lecturer at Zuyd University's for Gastronomic Hospitality, Innovative Hospitality, Module 4-8's internship mentor, study coach and blended learning advisor. I was previously involved as a supervisor at The Teaching Hotel School, with a passion for developing the skills and aptitudes of students to reach their full potential. In addition, I am a qualified and registered assessor. Recently completed Zuyd's Senior Qualification Examination course (study load: 66 hours). In addition to mentoring Hospitality Studies lecturers at various tertiary institutions, I also provide consultation services on staff training and customer service. I have driven the following improvements with the help of blended learning, creativity, and my passion for hands-on lecturing, in the last six months at HMSM:(1) designed new skill training concept diagrams (2) created 'guest journey' infographics (3) restructured the THCB Moodle layout (4) created online assignments and learning material during the COVID-19 challenges;(5) THCB curriculum review (bridge the gap – start the conversation between theory and practical);(6) introduced weekly online service 'helpline' Q&A sessions via MS Teams;(7) created new daily assessment format and improved assessment criteria;(8) improved hospitality skills passport – more visual (9) designed new documents for THCB and module 3;(10) improved presentations;(11) created inhalers assignments;(12) recorded voice-overs for my module 2 and module 3 online classes;(13) created eight new training videos with the help of Zuyd@Video; and (14) two blended learning educational videos for Zuyd University. I am detail-oriented, professional, and dynamic. In particular, my experience in high-pressure environments has assisted my development as a leader and facilitator of change and effective mentor. In summary, I contend that my relevant experience in higher education blended learning and proven abilities to improve academic development at education institutions will allow me to contribute to the establishment's positive experience and success. In my professional capacity, I strive to introduce, refine, and implement new strategies, policies, and procedures to facilitate solution-driven team collaboration, develop professional relationships between staff and industry partners, and improve students' experience in higher education and the food industry.
