About Jeanne Gonyer Baldwin

For nearly 29 years, I have dedicated my life to being a financial planner, managing over $230 million in assets for 300 families. My passion for helping others remains strong, but I'm now also venturing into motivational and inspirational speaking. My journey is shaped by profound experiences. I was raised by a mother who battled paranoid schizophrenia and became a widow at just 21 when my husband succumbed to cancer at the young age of 26. Thanks to his GI Bill benefits, I got to go to college and was even enrolled in a PhD program in Organizational Psychology. At 28, I faced a severe health crisis when I was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disease. Lupus almost took my life. After recovering and navigating through several dead-end jobs, I found my calling in financial services, unaware most people that start in my field, fail. Through hard work and determination, I achieved a level of success I never thought possible. In 2019, I faced another battle—stage 3 breast cancer. This experience reinforced my belief that attitude is almost everything; we all face adversity, but we can choose to persist and thrive. I believe that no one needs to feel trapped in their circumstances. Sometimes, all it takes is a positive word to unlock new possibilities and change your life. With an optimistic outlook and a long-term perspective, I aim to inspire others to find happiness and success, no matter their situation. Attitude really is almost everything. I am excited to share what I've learned.
