Jeevan Mitra has over 15 years of experience in various information technology areas involving Oracle Database Administration(EXADATA/RAC) and AWS Architect. He has good experience He is having good experience in Design and Build database solutions on AWS, Designing for high availability, building multi-zone and multi-region architectures using AWS RDS, Configuration and deployment of ASW RDS, EC2 instance and Restoring databases in multizone with the help of S3 buckets. He is having good experience in Installation and Administration of Oracle 8.x/9.x/10g/11g/12c Databases on Solaris, Linux, and NT. He is an expert in Installation of Oracle Software, database maintenance, Database migration and upgrades, Backup & Recovery, Tuning of Oracle database and network troubleshooting. As an Oracle DBA, he was involved in the physical and logical design of the database, installation, database object creation and administration of various Oracle Products like Oracle Database Server 8.x/9i/10g/11g. He has good experience in Databases Creation, Database Configuration, Space management, User management, Backup and Recovery strategies like cold backup, hot backups using RMAN and logical backups using export utility, Performance Tuning, Database Maintenance, Physical Standby Database setup and maintenance. Jeevan has good experience in Database Upgrade (from Oracle 8i/9i to 9i/10g/11g). Jeevan is good at both Production support and Application DBA environments. He is conversant with Oracle Exadata. He migrated Oracle database from Solaris to Exadata. Have involved in Data Center migrations. Migrated Exadata database from one data center to another data center. As a DBA he is familiar working with remote machines using rsync, rlogin, rsh, telnet, ftp, user and group management, file system management, scheduling jobs and shell scripting.
