Background

About Jef Verlinden

I got my high school diploma in Information Management and as I was always looking to learn new things (and still am), I started working 3 days and going to school for 2 days to get my certification in car mechanics. Though I found out that I love to do many things, my mind and feeling draw me back to IT. I searched for a job in IT and took evening school to get my higher degree in Information Management. Within the first years of my career I've build a technical background, but also found out that organizing and structuring were my real cup of tea. IT and nowadays Digitalization give me the opportunity to deliver the fundamentals and added value to those who need it, within and outside the organization. Everyone needs IT nowadays. IT makes your stakeholder work smoothly and happily, whereas it also needs to improve continuously and requires a close collaboration and relation with the stakeholders. I love to be the missing link between IT and other stakeholders. I strive for efficiency, velocity and agility to reach goals and next levels in IT maturity. In this search I always make sure stakeholders can follow and understand the process. I am a teamplayer and aim to encourage open and respectful communication. Therefore, I always pay attention to people management and change management.
