About Jeff Adams
I began my career in accounting, earning my CPA and working for PwC and Deloitte in audit and litigation consulting. Early on, I realized that my passion was for finance and strategy, rather than accounting. I spent the next 15 years working in various financial planning and strategy roles before joining Wolverton as Chief Financial Officer in 2015. In my role as Chief Financial Officer, I served as the financial strategist for the firm with the primary objectives of driving accountability and performance, focusing the company on metrics that drove value, and developing an ownership transition plan. After guiding Wolverton through a successful sale process, I became the Treasurer and Director of FP & A for CHA, the private equity-backed firm that acquired us, where I was responsible for business analysis and overseeing the firm's M&A financial activities. I am excited to now be serving as the Director of M&A for Stambaugh Ness, where I am able to share my buy and sell-side M&A experience with AEC industry leaders.
