About Jeff Allen

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from Sydney University, am a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, and have business management qualifications from Deakin University. I am a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors I have had a career in the electricity and related industries spanning more than 50 years, with a sound background in both strategic and operational areas of Transmission and Distribution networks and the Retail Energy area. I have held various executive positions, including CEO, GM Networks and GM Network Services at Endeavour (previously Integral) Energy I was the founding CEO of Energy Action Ltd and have also held the position of CEO of AK Power Solutions. For the past 20 years I have consulted widely in Australia and New Zealand in the areas of network regulatory and pricing submissions, asset management, engineering consulting, business process re-engineering, procurement best practice and culture change management. I have also worked in the infrastructure asset & works management information solutions area for asset intensive businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand. I have held a number of board positions with various companies for periods over the past 25 years. The roles have included various non executive positions as well 3 managing director positions. My specialties include Business Planning Workshop facilitation, Business process and organisational efficiency/effectiveness reviews, Organisational Restructuring and Change Management support, Implementation of performance management systems, Mentoring/Coaching of executive managers and Infrastructure Asset Management Reviews.
