About Jeff Andrews

Many, many years ago, sometime in the very early eighties (it's been so long it's hard to remember exactly when), while endlessly playing video games on an Atari 2600 my mom casually informed me that I could be making games instead of just playing them. This immediately caught my attention and from then on I was hooked. I wanted to be a programmer. Going on from those early days, my father purchased an Apple IIe for me which I insatiably learned everything I could about it. Programming it first in ROM basic and then progressing towards assembly. This all undoubtedly led me to a bachelors degree in Computer Science, which I obtained from De La Salle University, a top university in the Philippines. Along the way I found a renewed faith in God that has led me to be involved in many communal and humanitarian efforts, which I still do to this day. I also got married to an amazing woman, and we have a wonderful daughter. I am now a 20+ year software engineering veteran having worked at renowned corporations such as Unisys, ATI, Intel, Microsoft, and now Apple; with years of experience in C/C++, Assembly, C#, Windows, and others. After all these years my interests in programming have not waned. I am still passionate about learning new technologies and advancing myself in the field of computers, and investigating cross discipline opportunities that could hopefully be beneficial to society as a whole.
