About Jeff Ausman

Background and Experience: Jeff moved to Colorado in 1983 and began his career in Mortgage Banking in June of 1984. After several years as a top producing loan officer he started his own company in 1998. He served as President and owner of Ausman Mortgage Corporation for 10 years. In 2008, with the extreme changes and regulations in the industry, he accepted a position to start up a retail operation in Colorado for Guaranteed Rate. After five years developing the retail market for Guaranteed Rate in Colorado he then made a move into the banking side of the business and served as a top producing Mortgage Banker for three years with Bank of the West. He then made the decision to accept the offer to join the 1st Mortgage Solutions team and help develop and grow the retail forward mortgage side of the business as well as the Bank TPO platform. He then accepted the position to join CB & T Mortgage to manage their new branch in the Denver Metro area. After 3 years as the Denver Branch Manager for CB & T Mortgage, it was announced that the holding company, Central Bancorp had been acquired by CrossFirst Bank. CrossFirst Bank announced that Jeff would be running their entire Mortgage Division and appointed him as Executive Director. Jeff is extremely excited about the opportunity to join such a phenomenal company, and to build their Mortgage Division Nationally, and become EXTRAORDINARY together.
