About Jeff Averill

In Quality Engineering within Slalom, we have the vision to be the premier place for quality practitioners to work and elevate their craft. We have markets throughout the US and internationally, creating a flexible, scalable software delivery service for many client needs. Within that, our QE capability is home to a fantastic array of talented professionals with a focus on quality. Within Slalom - I want to spread our 4 Core Principles that help set a foundation of Quality: 1. We believe in whole team ownership of quality. Quality Engineers empower teams to bring a focus on quality. We believe in the benefit of close proximity between development and test activities. We believe automation is critical for high quality, high velocity delivery. While a company statement, these are statements I hold personally for my focus on quality. Building on that, I want to continue learning new and engaging ways of making better software in all types of industries. I have had experience in process automation software, modern-web build solutions, leading multi-team programs within the SAFe delivery model, helped build web-based business software integration, and EHR/Medical software for both Records and Billing. I love learning new technologies and concepts and applying my experience to deliver the best products. I have lead many teams both from Quality Engineering standpoints and overall on our Scrum teams to deliver our targeted product.
