About Jeff Bangsberg

I have over 10 years of work experience and an unusual blend of content development, production, and distribution expertise. Since 2010, I have been working in the esports field and primarily focused on content creation (as a freelance producer, director, technical director and broadcast engineer.) Previously, I was with Echo Bridge Entertainment, where I worked on film acquisition, managed acquisitions, asset delivery, DVD/BD authoring, and QC. I also launched both a video game distribution division and internal DVD authoring division while there. This blend of experience gives me a 360-degree view of the content business and I have been able to continually drive efficiency and quality improvements by overhauling systems and processes, and bringing costly functions in-house. Colleagues know me as a strong leader and a resourceful problem-solver with a proven ability to perform well in stressful, high-profile situations and when facing challenging problems. Career highlights include- Re-booting the King of the Hill show for ESL with a new format and demographic that attracted Disney to buy out the show- Co-founding a regional esports company that has a major influence on the FGC to this day- Creating broadcast studio from scratch for UMG, including purchasing all equipment and sourcing all resources- Setting up a new video game distribution division for Echo Bridge Entertainment and forging developer partnerships that resulted in two game releases within the first 6 months. I am currently working freelance and exploring new opportunities in esports and content development.
