My integrity is embedded in everything I do. Creativity and Innovation: Creative thinking and constant innovation is what makes me stand out in a room of leaders. Steve Jobs once said, “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.” Innovation has been at the core of my duties as a Crisis Counselor, supporting people in identifying their own unique ideas and then turning those ideas into goals and realities. Visionary: I am passionate about leading my teams with clear vision and supporting them to identify their own goals that inspire them to act, to change, to flex and to move. As John Quincy Adams put it, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Commitment and Passion: My bottom-to-top leadership style inspires my teammates to perform at a high level and my passion and commitment to Human Services inspires change and reflection. I am an advocate for inclusion and diversity in the workplace and in the community. Delegation and Empowerment: I proudly provide my teammates with all of the resources and support they need to achieve the objective and give them an opportunity to bear the responsibility. I set them up for success and support when needed. Effective and Respectful Communication: Words have the power to motivate people and make them do the unthinkable. I have a transparent approach to my communication; my teammates appreciate having clear expectations, goals and vision to help guide their work.
