About Jeff Bonar

A dedicated Asset & Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering housing and maintenance projects on time, on budget, and to spec. With experience across multiple industries and years of hands-on work in both field operations and management, I’ve developed a broad set of skills that balance leadership, planning, and execution. At Cowichan Tribes, I oversee the asset management of over 200 rental homes, leading a skilled maintenance team and coordinating renovations, asset protection, and ongoing repairs. My focus is on ensuring homes remain safe, functional, and well-maintained — with a people-first approach that reflects the needs of the community we serve. I’m a strong communicator who works closely with staff, contractors, and leadership to move projects forward with transparency and purpose. Whether it’s responding to day-to-day maintenance issues or planning long-term asset strategies, I take pride in being dependable, solution-oriented, and grounded in real-world problem solving. Let’s connect if you’re involved in housing, asset management, maintenance leadership, or Indigenous community services.
