About Jeff Bucaro

Mr. Bucaro brings 30 years of financial services expertise with a strong concentration on originating, structuring and closing debt and equity capital for hotel and resort owners nationwide. Mr Bucaro has a broad array of experience including product development and management, capital raising, fee income generation, and commercial real estate finance within world-class organizations, including the former First National Bank of Chicago (acquired by JP Morgan Chase) and ABN-AMRO North America (acquired by Bank of America). Mr. Bucaro’s current responsibilities include originating, underwriting, and financing commercial real estate assets. He has evaluated over $6 billion in financing opportunities across all properties types, including land, hotels, retail centers, apartment buildings, office and industrial properties, and has successfully closed individual transactions ranging from $5 million to over $500 million. Mr. Bucaro has experience structuring transactions at all levels of the capital stack, including senior mortgages, A/B structures, mezzanine debt, Historic and New Markets tax credit syndication, joint-venture equity, and fund-level equity investments. He is also responsible for establishing correspondent relationships with a wide range of capital sources, including hedge funds, life companies, investment banks, mortgage REITs, commercial banks, credit unions, and private money funds. Mr. Bucaro is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), along with several local real estate organizations. Mr. Bucaro earned his MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Investment, and achieved a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration
