About Jeff Carrera

Film Director, graduated from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC), with over 10 years of experience creating music videos and TV commercials. My film style has been shaped by the influence of directors like Darren Aronofsky and Spike Lee, leading me to develop a visual language and storytelling full of color, contrast, and emotional depth. Passionate about cinematic technique, I have a strong preference for working with anamorphic lenses. This choice allows me to craft immersive and expressive cinematic compositions, achieving a more refined visual finish that enhances both storytelling and brand identity. In the advertising industry, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most recognized brands nationwide in Peru. My work has received both national and international recognition. I was awarded with Silver and Bronze at the PHNX Tribute Awards by AD Forum in Paris for Pride Glass by SKYY Vodka, and received the ANDA Award for “Best Social Campaign” in Peru for Mujer Montaña. Rent Your Sunset by Corona received multiple awards in 2024, including a Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival, as well as one Gold, one Silver, and three Bronze awards at El Ojo de Iberoamérica. In 2025, the project continued its recognition, winning Silver and Bronze at El Sol Festival.
