With over 18 years of leadership experience in the US Army, including in senior roles supporting the US Department of Defense and USAID, I specialize in fostering interagency collaboration and building mission-oriented teams in high-stakes environments. My expertise lies in convening diverse stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives, and synthesizing complex information to accelerate decision-making for senior leaders, particularly in crisis scenarios.As the SOUTHCOM liaison to USAID, I operate at the nexus of defense and development for Latin America and the Caribbean. I spearhead critical efforts on climate resilience, strategic competition, and illegal and unregulated fishing by cultivating communities of interest and coordinating priorities across government agencies, NGOs, and international partners.Over the course of my career, I’ve led diverse teams during deployments to the Middle East and Latin America, addressing environmental, humanitarian, and political crises. My achievements include:• Managing $17M+ in emergency response and reconstruction projects in Afghanistan.• Orchestrating civil-military operations with Korean governmental and non-governmental organizations.• Coordinating 7 teams across Central and South America on civil-military efforts.I excel at assembling and empowering cohesive teams to tackle complex and evolving challenges, fostering inclusive environments that leverage diverse expertise.
