About Jeff Chiu

Technical Support Engineer Masters of Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine Former Krav Maga Instructor Student of life, the universe and everything I've spent a lot time working and teaching large groups of people as well as a self-defense instructor as well as one-on-one with my patients in the treatment room. I'm looking for a new challenge and am now looking to put my life experience into coding as a way to broaden my horizons and dig deep into understanding the inner workings of this vast digital world we find ourselves in. To reach those goals I've joined the October C#/React cohort @ Epicodus where every day is a new facet of the world of coding and a new opportunity to work with other folks in our cohort. My background in teaching and healthcare has built up my skills of working either one-on-one or with a large group to solve complex problems and be open to new, non-traditional methods to solve a problem. Once I've matriculated at Epicodus I'll be working on personal apps and look forward to joining a dev team, large or small, working on projects that help establish the digital footprint of the start-ups, big corporations or personal projects.
