About Jeff Choma

Jeff is a multifaceted, seasoned, technical professional with over 35 years’ experience in both hard and soft services in facilities management, construction, educational and healthcare environments. He currently is responsible for the day to day operations and direction of the "On Demand" Division of the Dexterra Group in the IFM portfolio. On Demand provides a wide range of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, communications, fire safety, energy management and interior renovation services to multiple markets across Canada. Prior to taking on the leadership role for the On-Demand Division, Jeff had worked as technical resource and construction phase representative for the Services partner in the Stanton Territory Hospital P3 build in Yellowknife NWT. In this role Jeff provided design input, product review and contract compliance responsibilities that ensured that the site conditions provided the solutions expected from the submitted design submission. Jeff is a “take charge” administrator with green and energy efficient mindset along with proven management skills that achieve deliverables consistently on time and on budget. He has extensive technical expertise in building automation, communication networks and active security systems adding to the effective delivery of a “hands on approach” to total facilities maintenance and project management. Jeff has exceptional communication and relationship skills with the ability to create, mold and motivate groups of individuals and build strong, sustainable teams of well purposed professionals in both technical and soft FM environments. Having exposure and influence on several Canadian Government military contracts, Jeff holds security clearances to Secret Level and has documented success working with Defence Canada at various levels. His knowledge of standards and organizational skills allowed him to successfully lead the implementation and certification of Dexterra’s Corporate Office and Help Desk/Call center to ISO 9001,14001,45001.
