I have been on the Technical Committee for Recreational Vehicle Safety Standards with NFPA since I have been actively involved with RVIA's Safety committees for Electrical, Heating, Fire and Life Safety, and Plumbing for the 1192 standards. I have chaired the Fire and Life Safety committee and currently chair the Plumbing committee. I currently serve on the Canadian Z240 Standards committee for Recreational Vehicles. I have investigated thermal events on recreational vehicles for more than 10 years and have been considered an expert for trial testimony and depositions. In 2009, I received RVIA's award for "Distinguished Achievement in RV Standards"
