About Jeff Crouse

I am interested in working within a professional capacity as a highly skilled copywriter, copyeditor, and researcher. Besides having been an Acquisitions Editor at Parmenides Publishing, a philosophy press with offices in Zurich, Athens, and Las Vegas, I have also published 15 scholarly articles and was the Editor-in-Chief for four special-themed academic journals. In addition, in front of a global audience of 180 million viewers I was the on-air media consultant for Britain's Sky News for the 2012 US President election. In addition, I am a former successful campaign manager for a sitting member of Congress (Rep. Dina Titus, NV-D), a college professor who has taught in four countries (Japan, Guatemala, the United States, Great Britain), and whose quality of teaching is reflected in the eight honors and awards it has received. In a 2014 analysis of my work, British scholar Stella Hockenhull named me as one of the "seminal" figures in contemporary film writing. At Brainstorm I re-wrote the company's internal technical manual, and for The Nature Conservancy I performed all of the film research for their field research station at the Walking Box Ranch in Nevada (the previous residence of star Clara Bow). Meanwhile, in the position of film producer, I worked with Serge Bromberg of Lobster Films in Paris in fully restoring a 1927 film,"Little Mickey Grogan," starring one of the last remaining silent film performers, Lassie Lou Ahern. I am also the producer as well for a documentary titled "Lassie Lou Ahern - A Voice for the Silent Age" which will be also released on DVD in 2023. My doctoral education was earned at the University of Warwick (UK) where I was the first American to graduate from what the "Times of London" and "The Guardian" list as Great Britain's highest rated film studies program. Other degrees include a Masters in Political Science (magna cum laude), and a BA in Liberal Arts/History (magna cum laude).
