About Jeff D.

My objective is to lead the planning, assessment, and mitigation of risks and impacts around feature/defect work in software and to ultimately deliver software driven solutions with the highest levels of quality. I have testing experience with both centralized and decentralized pharmacy products, as well as hardware/software troubleshooting experience and regularly work across multiple departments to achieve success. As a SQE workstream lead for a central pharmacy robotics product development group, some of my responsibilities include coordinating quality, document control and scrum/agile initiatives, best practices and adherence to quality standards as well as release planning, end of sprint & release hardening coordination and planning. I am also responsible for driving better cross team alignment to the processes, making sure these are in place and communicating risks and test progress out to stakeholders in the organization. Some of my accomplishments are being a part of the successful GA launch of a central pharmacy robotics product, leading a sustaining quality assurance team, ramping up a new EDMS system for a product group and being the single source of truth for routing engineering change orders/requests as well as managing the change requests for software releases, and providing general training on the subject. I have participated as a mentor in a job shadowing project for document control, providing hands on and presentation training to the mentee. I am also working as a workstream lead in conjunction with a scrum master/technical lead to ramp up a scrum team on agile processes, and to capture metrics and sprint progress for stakeholders to review.
