About Jeff Eberhard

I am an experienced trial lawyer who has litigated a wide-variety of disputes for clients including Fortune 500 companies, high-frequency trading and investment firms, REITs, private equity firms, technology companies, and individuals and small businesses. I spent ten years at Jenner & Block as a partner in the Securities Litigation and Enforcement practice group and focused my practice on complex litigation and enforcement matters involving the financial services industry. Since joining Gair Eberhard Nelson Dedinas Ltd, I have continued focusing on complex commercial litigation. I also have extensive experience conducting internal investigations and representing companies and individuals in investigations by the DOJ, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, and securities and commodities exchanges. I obtained a B.A. in Economics and Spanish and graduated cum laude from Colgate University in 1996. I received my J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2001, where I graduated cum laude, was Order of the Coif, and served as Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review. After law school, I clerked for the Honorable Michael S. Kanne on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
