Jeff Eckstein, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Assurance Services team in Winnipeg. Jeff works with medium-to-large-size public and private companies and organizations in the not-for-profit and government sectors, delivering customized assurance and compliance services as well as strong business advice to help owners and management achieve their goals. Jeff’s extensive experience includes audit and review engagements, financial reporting and ensuring that relevant regulatory compliance matters are addressed. He also assists with complex accounting issues and accounting standard interpretation with respect to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Canadian Not-for-Profit Accounting Standards and Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards. Committed to developing strong working relationships with his clients and truly seeing things from their perspective, Jeff takes a personalized approach that generates results. He listens carefully to client concerns, obtaining a solid understanding of their issues and expectations so he can meet their needs with the most cost-effective solution. An excellent communicator, he helps clients identify, understand and implement changes related to accounting standards and regulatory changes. Jeff was designated a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2006 after receiving a Bachelor of Administration (with Distinction) from the University of Regina. He is Past-Chair of the Winnipeg Humane Society's Board of Directors and a past member of the United Way of Winnipeg’s Community Investment Committee.
