Hello there. In the world of LinkedIn profiles, I stand out for my ability to grow beyond my employment card and to step out, believe in myself and to create a profitable, real-world, challenge-solving business consulting group while carrying on the great work of UC San Diego EH & S. I'm a seasoned health and safety professional, that has a broad background and one that can execute safety programs without difficulty. I'm adept in training staff in health and safety, in affecting change in behavior and using humor and laughter to gain retention and willingness to learn. I'm comfortable on stage and using digital media to create safety campaigns and materials to support the culture and value of safety. With high emotional intelligence and a high level of energy to put it into action, I have been very successful in fostering working relationships between various groups, getting party buy-in and gaining the trust of staff, faculty, trades, and management. I routinely give back my mentoring undergrads in EH & S and sustainability topics and participating in pilot water sustainability projects that benefit the campus. I'm comfortable in a high pace, unstructured environment with conflicting deadlines. Shifting priorities and time management constraints I can adapt to easily. Through hard work, focus and refinement of skill, I'm very proud of the accomplishments I have made and the work still to do. I'm a big fan of Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Brian, Tacy, Grant Cardone and Gary V. for their sound methods to scientifically motivate and get one's self and others to focus, overcome challenges, have self-confidence, and go out and accomplish goals and live bigly.
