About Jeff Gerring

As the Deputy Division Director at Navy Personnel Command, I am responsible for the assignment and career management of over 300 Training and Administration of the Reserve (TAR) Officers in various naval communities. My mission is to enable and empower the TAR Officers to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to support the Navy's readiness and operational requirements. I have a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and I have served in the Navy for over 24 years. My core competencies include leading diverse teams in complex and dynamic environments, overseeing all aspects of operations, safety, logistics, security, maintenance, and planning, and conducting data analysis and performance assessment. I have extensive experience in managing technological issues, human resource management, and cross-functional coordination across organizational departments.
