About Jeff Greenberg

Jeffrey W. Greenberg is Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Starr Companies, a global investment and insurance firm. He serves as Chairman of The Starr Foundation and Vice-President of the Board of the Starr International Foundation. In addition to his positions at Starr, Mr. Greenberg is Chairman of Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm that he founded in 2005. Prior to Aquiline, Mr. Greenberg had years of executive leadership in the insurance sector, previously serving as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE:MMC). Early in his tenure with MMC, Mr. Greenberg led the company’s private equity business, MMC Capital. He also spent 17 years at American International Group (NYSE:AIG) in various executive roles. Mr. Greenberg is a Trustee of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, a Member of the Board of Overseers at Weill Cornell Medical College, and a Member of the Board of Directors of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. He is a Member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Council on Foreign Relations and is a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association. Mr. Greenberg received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.
