About Jeff Hassell

Experienced transactional and business attorney whose clients are entities and individuals involved in many different industries, including energy (primarily midstream), banking, professional services, manufacturing, distributing, retail, food services, convenience stores, technology, chemicals and healthcare. Also, I have many individual clients who are business investors, trustees, or professional athletes. My practice is almost exclusively business and commercial matters. Most frequently I handle merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions (including stock purchases, asset purchases and formation of joint ventures), other commercial transactions, corporate finance and workouts, and real estate transactions. I also represent various small businesses in their business and succession planning. From August 2011 through April 2014, as general counsel of a growing bank with operations in both Oklahoma and Texas, I handled matters involving commercial loans, corporate governance, shareholder relations, commercial contracts, vendor relations, depositor relations, bank regulation, and general compliance. I also acted as corporate secretary for the bank holding company.
