About Jeff Higgins

I have a strong technical skill and lifelong passion for networking and technology. I currently work as a Medical systems technician, I utilized my technical skills to work on cutting-edge system design and installation, computer network administration, and small and medium network design. I also developed experience with fibre optics and helped to design web and software technical code. I travelled throughout Canada and the United States for on-site technical installations and software troubleshooting and developed strong communication skills while interacting with clients on a daily basis. I constantly worked in team-oriented environments and led cross-functional teams to achieve daily performance targets. In addition I work at Canadian Tire Uxbridge as IT administrator managing all of the systems (over 40 PCs), network, and security cameras and DVRs - fixing any issues that arise. Over the course of the last three years, I successfully converted all of the IBM terminals to a PC based environment and completely overhauled the network backbone to increase organizational system productivity. I also do graphic design, UI design, Photography, Videography, programming, 3D animation and Rendering. I enjoy Games, Movies, and TV ranging from SciFi, to Anime.
