A previous Law Enforcement officer, I retired with the Rank of Captain in 2010, with 28 years of service. I Assumed the position of Head of Security Operations for Romarco minerals as a contractor. Romarco Minerals is a Canadian based gold company, as CEO of Blue Line Security, based in South Carolina. In 2016 OceanaGold, an Australian owned Gold producer assumed ownership of the Haile Gold Mine based in Kershaw, South Carolina. At that time OceanGold hired me as Head of Security to manage their Security and Mine Rescue team Operations, and assist in the Health and Safety Department as a Safety advisor. I supervised 14 armed Security Officers and 27 Mine Rescue members. While in law enforcement I supervised department of over 150 employees, consisting of the patrol units, investigations,tactical services k-9 unit, civil process and the detention center. I held numerous certifications in Investigations, Homicide Investigation, Street Gangs, Emergency Management using the National Incident Management system. Hostage Negotiation, Advanced Supervision, Tactical Response, Blood Borne Pathogen, Basic Firearms, Civil Process and Critical Incident Command, I also supervised the Alcohol Enforcement Team. I spent 3 years with The U.S. Marshals Office in Columbia S.C with the Fugitive Task Force Division. My role as Head of Security Operations is to oversee all the daily activities of The Security and rescue team, and the physical site industrial Security at Oceanagold, Haile Gold Mine Inc. I assisted in initiating all of the Emergency Management Standard Operating Procedure for the company, and executed the company's emergency drills. As Head of Security Operations. I am the company's liaison with external emergency services. I also assist in the Health and Safety Department at Oceanagold as a safety adviser. I am a proven leader who performs well in Multi-tasking environment: I have humility, professional will, and a passion to drive an organization to succeed in reaching its future goals. As Head of Security Operations at Haile, I report directly to the Executive General Manager for the company. Previously served as Regional Vice President for ASG.
