I am a business leader first and an HR leader second. This means that my role in any organization is as a senior business leader whose primary responsibility is to make the business better every day. Of course, this is seen through an HR executive’s lens, but it is an important distinction to make. I’m not interested in simply managing personnel transactions and back office functions. I am focused on driving positive, meaningful change to help organizations and people reach their fullest potential and deliver sustainable results. Those I’ve worked with will tell you that I’m highly skilled at quickly building trusting, effective relationships from the C-suite to the front line and that I consistently deliver impactful results. Specifically, I have a proven track record of attracting, retaining and developing talent; building and leading cutting-edge HR teams; transforming organizational structure and culture for improved bottom line performance; as well as reducing turnover and increasing employee engagement at all levels. Over the course of my career, I’ve built and led all functional areas of HR in industries including healthcare, retail, financial services, technology, manufacturing, consulting, and education. I have extensive experience in private equity environments, large public companies, and organizations of all shapes and sizes in between. I’ve led teams ranging in size from 2 to 150+.
